A plethora of studies have been conducted on the impact of unpaid care and domestic work in relation to gender, inequality, gross domestic outputs, unsuccessful implementation of sustainable development goals, women’s physical and mental health, a girl child’s education, corporate women’s training and performance, less participation of women in politics, socioeconomic development and business development in recent years in both low-income and high-income economies. Little has been done to recognise and address the influencers of unpaid care and domestic work in both low-income and high-income economies.
